This policy applies to all home furnishing products sold at Texas City Furniture & Mattress—including dressers, nightstands, dining sets, sofas, decorative mirrors, rugs, and other merchandise—in strict accordance with U.S. e-commerce regulations to safeguard consumer rights.
1. Eligible Scenarios for Returns and Exchanges
We support compliant return and exchange services; requests may be submitted under the following circumstances:
Physical damage incurred during transit, such as breakage, dents, deformation, surface scratches, or shattered mirrors.
Discrepancies between the received item and the order details (style, specifications, color, or quantity), including incorrect shipments or missing items.
Manufacturing defects, such as loose structural components, missing parts, or functional malfunctions (excluding damage caused by user handling).
Returns or exchanges initiated for personal reasons within the designated timeframe, provided the item remains in pristine, unused condition.
2. Eligibility Criteria and Non-Returnable/Non-Exchangeable Items
2.1. General Eligibility Criteria
All return or exchange requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery. Items must be in brand-new, unused condition, free from user-inflicted wear, stains, scratches, modifications, or signs of disassembly. The original packaging, accessories, manuals, and any complimentary gifts must be fully intact, ensuring the item remains suitable for resale. 2.2. Items and Situations Ineligible for Return or Exchange
Requests for returns or exchanges will not be accepted for items exceeding the 30-day eligibility period.
Returns or exchanges are not supported for damage caused by improper use, unauthorized disassembly, impact/collision, or wear and tear from household use.
Natural phenomena resulting from normal use—such as minor wear, color variations, or slight fabric creasing—do not constitute quality issues and are not eligible for return or exchange.
Custom-made or specially modified items are not eligible for return or exchange unless there is a quality issue.
Returns or exchanges will not be processed if valid proof of purchase cannot be provided or if packages are returned without prior notification; such packages will not be accepted upon delivery.
3. Validity Period for Returns and Exchanges
The standard timeframe for returns and exchanges for all products is 30 calendar days from the date of receipt. If an application is not submitted within this period, the product is deemed accepted and in good condition; subsequent requests for returns, exchanges, or refunds will not be accepted.

5. Detailed Exchange Process
5.1. Submit Request: Within 30 days of receipt, contact customer service to submit an exchange request, specifying the reason for the exchange and the desired replacement style or specifications.
5.2. Review and Verification: Customer service will check the order and product details. Once eligibility is confirmed, the request will be approved, and you will be informed of the exchange procedures.
5.3. Ship Back Original Item: Ship the original product to the designated return address, ensuring it is in good condition with all accessories included, and upload the tracking number.
5.4. Replacement Shipment: Once the warehouse receives and verifies the original product, a brand-new replacement will be shipped out within 3 business days.

6. Detailed Refund Process
6.1. After the warehouse successfully receives and verifies the returned product, we will complete the refund review and processing within 3–5 business days.
6.2. All refunds will be issued to the customer's original payment account; this applies to all payment channels, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
6.3. Refund Arrival Time: Once processed by the platform, funds typically arrive within 1–3 business days. The final arrival time depends on the issuing bank's settlement rules; please note that delays may occur with some banks.
7. Shipping Cost Responsibility for Returns and Exchanges
7.1. Shipping Costs Covered by Us (Free Returns/Exchanges)
Texas City Furniture & Mattress will bear the full cost of round-trip shipping for returns or exchanges resulting from issues attributable to the merchant, such as product quality defects, damage during transit, incorrect items shipped, or missing items.
7.2. Shipping Costs Covered by the Customer
For returns or exchanges initiated for personal reasons—such as personal preference, incorrect size, or no longer needing the item—the customer is responsible for all round-trip shipping costs.
8. Order Cancellation Policy
Customers may contact customer service to cancel an order at any time before it has been shipped; there are no processing fees, and a full refund will be issued via the original payment method.
Once an order has left the warehouse and shipped, it cannot be directly cancelled. If a return and refund are desired, the store's standard return and exchange procedures must be strictly followed.
